Nutritional Therapy Clinic

If you need support with your health, diet, supplement regime or you are interested in prevention of diseases then a nutritional therapy consultation could be the answer for you. After completing a BSc in Nutrition and a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to match.

I treat each person as a brand new individual case. No one person is the same and a one size fits all approach is simply not appropriate. I strive to find the root causes of disease because until this has been solved a solution can never truly be achieved and the client will never fully reach optimal health. I liken it to putting a plaster over a dirty wound, without actually cleaning the wound out in the first place, it is merely masking the problem. Unlike conventional doctors who treat symptoms with drugs that have side effects that outweigh their benefits, I treat the person as a whole, bringing the body back in to balance through diet, lifestyle and supplements if necessary. I use functional testing in order to obtain a greater insight as to what is going on within the body, in order to pinpoint areas to target.

I am so passionate about educating others in how they can achieve their optimal wellbeing and how to actively prevent disease.

About Nutritional Therapy

We know that nutritional therapy is an excellent way to improve and maintain your health. It can be difficult to work out what we should be eating, and which vitamins, minerals and supplements may help. Having professional advice and guidance from a nutritional therapist can make all the difference.

By identifying and addressing underlying imbalances, nutritional therapy aims to support the body whilst recovering from specific conditions and improving overall health and vitality. By eating the right foods, and using supplements where necessary, the body is able to gradually recover. Clients with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, ME, food allergies and hormonal imbalances (including pre-menstrual syndrome, infertility and menopausal symptoms) and many more conditions have all benefited from nutritional therapy. It may also be that you are generally healthy, and want to stay that way and prevent disease from occurring in the future.

About your consultation

The dietary advice given will be specifically for you and your unique makeup. Before your first consultation, you will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire and food diary, so that I can begin to prepare an individual treatment programme for you. During the session, you will have plenty of time to discuss all of your concerns in detail. Follow up appointments will ensure that you make as much progress as possible.
